Sheep & Airstream Storage

Where do you store your Airstream?

We tucked ours in today in the Sheep Barn at the county fairgrounds. I was hoping for the Horse Barn as ours is named Nellie after the first horse I had - a wonderful gentle gray mare retired from the circus,

Nellie has an interesting neigbor, a restored 1948 Spartan Manor.

The shop that restored the Spartan, Flyte Camp, is here in Bend, Oregon. They've done a number of very cool vintage restorations. Check out their website.

I heard a rumor that the trailer used in "The Long, Long Trailer" is currently in their shop for restoration. I'm going to check it out. If it's true I'll try to get some pictures.

Just recently borrowed "The Long, Long Trailer" to watch with my kids on their maiden voyage in my AS. What a fun movie! Please post pictures if you do indeed come across it in restoration, as well as any plans for the trailer- would be fun to check out! I am lucky enough to store my sweetie in a nice clean, dry shed on my boyfriends's farm. Her winter roommates are boats- they get along quite well
