Off The Ground Storage

Can anyone tell me where/how I find both the lift and jack stand points on my 27FB?

I store her indoors (unheated) and the first winter I placed the tires on thick foam to protect from cement but did not put her on jack stands. Looking to take the weight off the axles this year.

Thanks.

The older models have the lift points marked right on the frame rails - you have to slide under to find em' - don't know about the current models...

I'd thumb through your Owner's Manual...

Lift the trailer using a jack, "between" the axles, with the jack on the bottom of the axle mounting plate. That plate is welded to the sides of the frame.

Then, you can install jack stands at the rear of the trailer, on the A-frame, "AND" most importantly, on the rear end of the axle mounting plate, behind the rear axle.

This method will allow you to have the trailer "entirely" off the ground, and permit safe walking on the inside of the trailer.

Or, us jack stands on the A-frame, and behind the rear axle, but only if you do not plan on using or walking on the inside of the trailer.

Six jack stands, provide considerable stability. 4 jacks stands are still OK, IF you do not walk on the trailer floor.
