Moth Ball Smell

Stored my 2011 26' inside a heated hanger. At dealer's suggestion, I put plastic bags of mothballs in all the outside accessible compartments, and placed dryer sheets inside the trailer. After picking up the AS and taking it home, removing all mothballs and dryer sheets, cleaning floors and surfaces with ammonia - vinegar solution, opening up all windows to the great WI weather we're having, and turning on the exhaust fans, can't get rid of the mothball smell.

Any suggestions please?

Hopefully the previous poster's information will help. Once you get rid of the smell try using dryer sheets only. That method alone has worked for us for years and it leaves a much more tolerable smell. Good luck and GO BADGERS!

Zeolite

If this doesn't get rid of the odor ~ nothing will. It's natural, non toxic & will neutralize a smoke damaged home in a few days. It's also affordable. I recommend it to my home cleaning customers. Sorry I took so long to comment ~ your moth ball odor problem has been here for a while. I just realized I had a solution for you.
Bet you'll never use mothballs again. Good luck!
