Master switch / Storage question

I posted this question in the electrical forum but did not get a response so here it goes here. I have an '85 Excella. It has an on/off master switch behind the sofa for the batterys. Is it advised to shut it off during short term periods of non-use during the traveling season or is it intended as a cut off for long term storage ??? I remove the batteries and bring them indoors and keep them on a tender for the winter. So this is a non issue for me in winter storage but still curious if it is wise to shut them off for short terms.

Thanks all,

The "STORE/USE" disconnect switch behind the couch removes 12 volt power from the batteries to the 12 volt circuit breaker panel. Anything else that is wired directly to the batteries like the LP Detector are still being powered. You can add a battery disconnect between the batteries and that will kill any 12 volt power.
