Does anybody know of any good long term storage options in the Greensboro/Winston Salem,NC area ?

I happened upon your Thread for curiosity. I am sure there are others. Take a tour of the places available.

Do they have power when you are getting ready to depart and to charge your batteries?

Is the area fenced and secured with a keypad opening gate?

Is there a dump station for a nominal charge? $5 seems common

Is there an option to park under a structure among the RV buses?

Is there a discount for paying for 12 months in advance? Ask... It is common to pay for 11 and get one month free.

Is there a discount for being Old, a Veteran, Policeman or just being nice?

Is the gate operating 24 hours? Is there water access?

They usually charge by length and fit your trailer in a spot for that length. If they want to rent you a space where someone next to you has a boat, small trailer and a pile of junk... look for another spot. That empty space is vacant, just for that reason.

Find a place closest to home and then work further away.

Good luck. Finding a place is easy. Finding one that fits all of your needs that costs a bit more... DO IT. Dumpy RV storage places are more common and cut you no slack for cost or help.

Out of Doors Mart is located just east of Winston Salem. They are (supposedly) Airstream's oldest dealer. One thing for sure, they are definitely fine folks and I am pretty sure they offer onsite, secured storage. Give them a call.
