Hard water spots.

I live in an area with hard water and when washing the exterior it leaves hard water stains on the exterior. Does anyone have experience with a product to prevent this?

Thank you!

Portable Water Softener

I use this to both fill the water tank and to go inline on the city water inlet. I suppose it would work for washing the AS as well.

Hi. Would this water softener device be installed before an inline hose filter or after the filter and then to the RV?
Thanks

Probably best after the filter to keep debris out of the softener internals.

Thanks Rich

We use a RV-PRO 10000 softener. Cheaper and more capacity than the On The Go Standard, and at 20.5" high I can store it upright in the bed of our pickup under the tonneau cover. We hook up the water softener just after a high-flow sediment filter. We use a 10x4.5" Pentek DGD-2501 but a smaller 10x2.5" size also can work well.
