Actually, 2 air, I have found a couple of things that are different in the mid 2007 model year. My manuals all discuss and illustrate Moen hardware. but it was a change mid year 2007. (in my work world mid year would be like January 2007) My trailer was built in July 2006 as a 2007. I have found so far:
Brake actuator is different than SOP 2007
Plumbing fixtures are different than SOP 2007
Axles (never lube) are different than SOP 2007
And yet.....All my manuals reflect SOP 2007!!!!!!!

typically the units built late in the model year (march-may) ...
are more like the next years offerings...
but with a/s any thing is possible.
they are all 'one off' productions.
fortunately you can download the 08 parts/owners books
and cover both phases.
cheers

Yeah, in the automotive world federal law states that we can introduce a model year no earlier than January of the year prior to the model year of the vehicle. So a 2007 car could be introduced in January 2006. Don't know if that's the case with trailers and if that's the case here but, as you say, anything is possible with any particular model of A/S.

Sometimes 2airspeak must be translated. Answer: No in 2008 and 2009. I have no reason to believe they have changed the policy.
Some have used a cellphone to sneak photos and others have gotten special permission. They're probably worried OSHA will try to sneak in with a camera since they've been busted before. You can take photos in the service center, or, at least, I did.

grizzly it's very easy to make a connection. A small piece of water hose and a standard air tool fitting clamped on with a gear clamp will do.

If you don't want to make one, or can't find the parts, Camping World is selling something like what was' made. You still have to buy a proper fitting for your compressor for it.

Well,we like to cover any low spots in the system, and believe me there are some. So we pump in RV antifreeze to make sure all the water is out. ITS NON -TOXIC and will not harm anything. I do not have a drain in my fresh water tank,so I pump it till it sucks air and then add 1/2 gallon to keep it from freezing. I pour some into each trap and we are go to -50F and pray it never gets that cold here,BRRRRR!
Hope that's the answer you were lookin for.
Roger

Yep we did the winterize and also did our antifreeze injection even though we had blown out the lines. Unless you can get the lines dry there is always the possiblity of moisture collecting in a low spot and freezing. Besides unless you blow out the drain traps in the shower and sinks you need to get some antifreeze into these also.

The Company recommends just blowing out the lines, but it is impossible to know if you really get all the water out. Drops can stick to the inside of the pipes and then flow down to a low spot. For example, the sink sprayer has a low spot and the sprayer itself breaks very easily if there's any water in it that freezes. The toilet valve (it's behind the top of the toilet) also breaks easily if there's any water in it and that means removing the toilet to replace it. The outside shower faucet is a low spot. The newer PEX pipes are not rigid and therefore there are many low spots. When you use antifreeze you know you have forced water out. I use about 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 gallons—cheap insurance.
Traps can freeze too (think about replacing the shower trap—no easy access). And some extra antifreeze in the tanks keeps the drain seals lubricated.
RV antifreeze is not toxic like car antifreeze. It is supposed to be pink. If it's not, take it back. Some people report it tastes bad and some say that's because some brands of RV antifreeze are cheap stuff. I've used Prestone for the last couple of years and I don't detect a bad smell or taste. In the spring you have to flush and sanitize the system. When you sanitize, you have to pump the chlorine solution through the lines, then flush them too with clean water. If you taste antifreeze or chlorine you probably need to flush more.

Thanks John. We will winterize our 2000 Excella this week with your instructions. The winters in Maryland can get very cold so we want to protect our Airstream. We are new owners-so thank you.
