In the pictures notice the ones that look like loose gravel. This is how it looks after being placed and finished. After it sets up and should be stable those rocks can break loose if you put a front wheel on it and turn the wheel while steering. ...or braking....or sometimes scuff it with a foot. …...or heaven forbid snow removal tools.
The water will flow nicely through the pervious pavement. Of course the fines carried by the water won't. So after a while you may have to clean out the fines,....silt, sand, dust...., from the rocks for it to work.
It is often installed to make the storm water retention/detention and impervious calculations work. Which is often why after the project closes maintenance often takes out the pervious concrete and installs pavers, concrete, or asphalt paving.
In light traffic areas at your house it may work fine especially if you need to get rid of surface water. Note the maintenance necessary.
