Fabrics in Florida heat

Myrtle is camera ready but my concerns are the fabrics in the Florida heat will they mildew or get damaged? How can I prevent?

Vonda is reading my mind wondering about any tips for hot weather storage, have a cover was not aware of the downside. Does it make a diff if I have a painted Argosy? Would anyone recommend a dehumidifier inside? Should I leave the windows cracked a bit? Thanks for the advice Jim

We used DampRid in our boat and plan on using it in our TT. The humidity can be a problem, especially if stored outside. We set our boat ACs to "dehumidify", not sure if there is a similar setting in our Airstream, but if there is, we will use that as well.

If you gave power at the very least I leave a fan on all the time. Air movement us key. I crack cupboards and drawers. A dehumidifier would be great, although I've never tried one. I also in the summer run my ac at least once a weak to help get rid of dampness. Again, air movement is key in my opinion. Use one or more fans at all times.hope this helps, it's just my opinion,

For about eight years, we stored our 2005 Safari 25FB in the alley behind our house. We live in Santa Rosa Beach in the Florida Panhandle. Our house is a three back from the ocean. We never experienced any mildew from the extremely damp environment. The 2005 had the cloth interior. We kept her plugged in and set the air conditioner at 80 degrees. In the winter, we set the heat pump at 60 degrees. We have been doing the same thing with our new 2015 Flying Cloud 25FB which we have had for the last two years. I would not recommend a cover as they tend to trap moisture and create more problems than they solve.
