Custom Shed

Wel-l-l-l, I started with the decision to order a new Airstream Intl. It arrived 1 November 11. Then I needed a place to park it. First stage was tree removal and some grading. After a mild winter, I started thinking about protection from the elements and a better driveway. That led to having a contractor do a shed design. Then the building, a concrete driveway, me painting and staining. SO, here's the final product. (Oh, I also trenched in electrical, sewer, and water.) I have my very own "park". Needless to say, I'll be using this for guests!

That's a really cool design. Reminds me of a coverd bridge from New England.

I sent you a PM.

Preach! One of my overzealous neighbors called code enforcement on me because my baby stuck out into the sidewalk.

Luckily the enforcement guy is an AS fan and told me not to have it there during the week when he would be dispatched. He can only write a ticket if it's there when he's told to go investigate

That shed/barn/whathaveyou looks great!! I'm very jealous.

Beautiful! Was this prefab, custom or hybrid design? Also, if you don't mind sharing -- approximate cost?

Attention: Don't let my wife see this photo!

Absolutely love it!

I'd love to build one myself if I was allowed to have it here in the neighborhood. I'll save that one to my photo library so that I have it for future reference. I'm sure my next home will need one!

Good thing you bought a new one...if you had bought vintage you would need 2-3 times the room for the parts and the second one that always seems to come along.

Looks good. We are planning a new barn and part of that plan is space for at least two Airstreams plus an extra set of hookups or two.

It's beautiful........But I am curious

do people leave the sides open for fumes and exhaust, light, or moisture???
Or all of the above?
