I have a 99 Excella 28 and this Spring I had both skylights blow off on a trip with high winds. I suspect the adhesive deteriated because of sun damage. Therefore I'm considering a cover for the trailer. Does anyone have experience with covering an airstream. Is it hard to get it on with 2 people? Do you have a recommendation as to the type? Sunbrella is much more expensive than others but is it worth it? Thanks, Richard
The downside of a cover is the wear that will occur due to the movement of the cover on the surface of the trailer when the wind blows. Its virtually impossible to tie it down tight enough where it won't move.

The skylights are held on with #8 sheet metal screws and the sealer. The sheet metal screws broke through the plastic and then the skylights came off. If you click on the photo button at the bottom of this post it will take you to my photo section and there is an album marked skylights which has photos of the broken areas and my fix so this will not happen again. You do not want to use a cover on your trailer.
