Big snow storm up the eastern coast in next few days
Big snow storm heading up the eastern coast( seven states affected)and (four provinces in Canada)about two feet is forecasted to fall in lakewood New Jersey,I heard on the radio people are stocking up and buying so much some stores shelves are empty. ( in New Jersey)But up in Nova Scotia the people are getting there snow toys ready for some fun !
Keep the snow off your airstream roof !

If your Airstream is stored outside and gets buried in snow do you guys try to remove the snow on and around your Airstream after the storm?

Would melting snow that refreezes into crevices each night cause expansion which would help accelerate leaks down the road?

The only kravass that froze was the entrance door, forgot to silicone the gasket @ winterize.
The Classic has been outside for 12 WNY Winters, the only leaks.
Rear belt line into trunk, sealed.
Skylight, cracked when installed @ JC, replaced.
FF vent, same as above, replaced FF warrantee.
All clearance light lens, made new gaskets & sealed.

Yes I do clean the snow off the roof of the airstream almost every time it snows.and if we get lots of snow I will clean around the trailer.

Whew! Escaped from Lakewood last Tuesday and enjoying hot chocolate in Virginia. Sometimes when a thing works our right it's a good thing to take note.

I miss living in Maine, but do not miss the storms and shoveling snow one little bit. Hopefully this storm will not be as bad as predicted.
