Back from winter storage!

We just got back from getting our Airstream from winterstorage. Here's a macbook shot from our kitchen - feels like spring is really on its way now!

Out For the Summer

Were with you,it's always nice to see the trailer next to the house. We moved our's today from it's indoor to outside area. But because of local code we can't have it next to the house. But it's 15 min. vs. 2 hrs. away. Spring is in the "airstream" and the first trip is Easter weekend to Central Illinois. Can't wait.

I bet a bit further south, it's great weather....I think it will be about 3-4 weeks before I unmothball the Safari.

We have local codes here too, but it's one of those, don't ask, don't tell type things...only gets enforced if someone calls. All my neighbors thing the twink is the coolest thing, so I'm pretty good with being able to park it in the drive, but I have an indoor storage place for it, so out of shear luck, it gets to stay inside all the time when not in use.

3-4 weeks? The next week will see a lot of the snow melting away. It will still be quite a while before the Hwy Dept gets past the salt season and we get a good rain to wash the residuals away.

Yep, I have covenants. My baby also is pampered with inside storage. Nothing is too good for her!

Camping season

Moosetags hit it right on the nose. The weather down here where we live has been running around 70 to 75 degrees for a while now.I have been keeping the windows open for the last couple weeks almost and not using any heat during the night. It just doesnt get any better than this.It time to bring those Airstreams out and start heading south before it gets really hot down here.
