Nice

I'm sure it will look great at night, lit from within. Post some midnight oil shots!

This is a very creative solution. How much did the materials cost you to build this? Just curious because we are considering purchasing one of those "instant garages" for our trailer and would like to compare prices.

Wow an Airstream hot house. If you get shoots will you send me a cutting?

"It’s right were my tools, workshop, hot soup, toilet and easy access to the Forum are."

I like your priorities.

Do you tie the structure down for wind? Good point about the cost of storage offsetting the materials. I will have to direct my hubby here and show him what you have done. I sure would like a warm windless place to walbernize. He can do a bit at a time as you say it has full building potential if one desires. You may have to sell plans!

Paint job? clearcoat?

Smokelessjoe, NEAT. I will show it to my husband. Our 67 GT will sit next to our house...with no "house" . Are you going to give us a PLAN? Are you going to estimate cost? Please give us all the information you can. Thanks

What was that movie....... The Bubble Boy? Look out for that pitch you have for the roof. A little too much snow and, well you know! Well Joe, you knew you were going to get a serious ribbing from this group!

Good luck with your winter project.

There aren’t too many neighbors in this tiny community on the north shore of Erie but a couple of them coached from the sidelines and many more rubber-necked as they drove by. There were no accidents, neither on the road or the job site.

Many around here have boats or trailers in their own yards.

The cost was $1000.00 for materials and labour. That’s about $900.00 USD. It took 2 men plus me 16 hours.

The structure isn’t tied down but it is tied to the adjacent big tree. The enclosure is diagonally braced at the corners and as solid as a brick S. H. We don’t think anything less than gale force winds will disturb it.

I don’t think you want to build a permanent structure with a clear poly cover but it is ideal for this TEMPORARY use.

The Argosy will be painted, two tone, to match the Mini Cooper, which is going to ride on the frame of the Mercedes SPRINTER seen in the background.

We completed the work shelter with a tarp roof and a hinged door.

This Canadian Argosy has not seen the snow in 30 years and I didn’t want that to start now.

GEEZ I just dread the thought! For me it's just a matter of replacing the cold beer and gin and tonics with wine and brandy eggnogs- True story

Tim, being Canadian is something like being door gunner; it toughens you up.

Smokeless- didn't mean anything nasty, I've had the pleasure of using a brick S.H. while living in N.H. 4 decades ago! Now thats tough in the middle of winter. So anyway I'm lookin for a 24 Argosy project, Send me a few sprouts and I'll send you my left over beer and gin!! Tim
