Ive got a Porter Cable pancake compressor. It runs just fine on my Yamaha 2400. I used it just last week to blow out the water lines, etc. It's this little guy:

It weighs nothing, has two quick disconnect outlets for e.g nailguns or air hoses, can't weigh thirty pounds. Found one on sale new for $120, so shop around.
