'90 Excella Fresh Water Tank Drain?

Ok, so Im trying to winterize this thing, I found the 2 low point drains under the pantry, how do I drain the fresh water tank? I don't see any external valve underneath, I guess I'll just let the water pump handle it?

Idk. Any ideas?

My drain is on the street side between the tires. Look for a white colored petcock valve.

Does anyone know if the '90 25' Excella is the same as the 29'? I've winterized my trailer but I'm a little concerned. This was my first time winterizing it and I used compressed air since I don't think it has a hot water heater bypass. It's going down to 10 degrees here tomorrow night. The trailer is in a non-heated enclosed barn several miles away and I'm thinking of driving over to double check it. I don't recall seeing any low point valves.

I'd really appreciate your input.

Bird u need to look on the backside of the water heater. Mine is on the curbside under the bathroom vanity, if you see any kind of handle back there thets ur bypass, if not as long as u drained ur water heater, u should be ok.

If I look between the tires on the curbside, there is a white disk attaced to the side of the pan. I've wondered what that was. It looks like the handle is gone and a black plastic vacuum cap is placed over the stem where the missing handle should be! At least I know what supposed to be there now. lol

The low points on ur model are under yhe pantry and stove area. If I didn't no where mine were I would never have found them. Theyre small grey t valves. pull up and turn counterclockwise about 5 turns, when u close em they don't stop, kinda odd I thought. Bring a flashlight, mine were buried under the heating ducting!!!

My unit had the white plastic petcock fresh water tank drain with access between the tires curbside. I say "had " because it broke this spring and I had to make an emergency repair. I think that it will unthread if you find that you can't make it drain - but can't really remember. (The repair was a male garden hose thread with a cap for the valve - works so far.)

Other advice is to use as little pink antifreeze in the fresh water supply as possible - none is best - compressed air works for my unit. Only used pink once, next spring the water had a tint even after a great deal of flushing. Our dog would not drink it - had to haul water for her. Sort of surprising based on what she used to find in the woods and then eat!

Not sure what my unit should be described as; 25 foot center bath with "Sovereign" on the side and "Excella" on the can that hides the propane tanks.

Thanks for the input everyone. I just got back from the Sheep Barn at the county fairgrounds where Nellie is biding her time until we pull out of here in November. Went through everything and I feel comfortable now.

In my 04 Classic it's a white petcock behind the front street side tire. You have to crawl under the RV to reach it unless you have 4' long arms.

Mine is very hard to turn. I'm afraid the handle is going to brake, it takes that much pressure to turn it. How do you lubricate the thing, doesn't look like it can taken apart? I've used WD40 which helps but still tight.
