I really like the Andersen combination chocks/levelers as I frequently get into a site that is not level side to side, they eliminate the need for other chocks, and they can also be used as a ramp to lift the trailer in case of a need to change a tire.

Much more stable than I experienced with regular chocks.

I'm with you on the Fastway onestep chocks, but it seems to me a couple of boards are more compact and easier to use than the Andersen levelers?

No..I do not think they were mis centered but...there are different kinds of scissors out there. Mine, although I do not remember the make, were hinged which probably contributed to the problem greatly.

The Andersens are really quite ingenious! You get the EXACT amount of level you need without guessing and the added benefit is the pocket they create for the tires that reduces instability/rocking motion.

They definitely take up more room than boards but I absolutely love them!

I like the idea of the Andersen levelers but they didn't work on my 25' with 16" wheels. There wasn't enough room between the wheels to fit the leveler. I had to return them.

Sorry to hear that. Mine's a 27 with the 15" Michelins and they've been great for that setup.

Well, if the Andersen chocks don't work with 16" Michelins on an Airstream I don't have to wonder about them, stick with the boards (which work fine).

I just got a set from Andersen manufacturing, yes the same company that makes the Andersen hitch. They are wheel chocks, levelers and lifts so you can change a tire on dual axle trailers. They are a very bright red color so that when you look back after you pull out of a camp site they really stand out. They also come in handy to lift the right side of a trailer at a dump station when the ground slops away from that hole in the ground.

I have used Roto Chocks for several years and very happy with them. They seem to take a little bounce out of the rig. Recently acquired the Andersen levelers and used them 3 times. Now I am a big fan, faster and easier than blocks. When set up I use both the Andersen's and the Roto Chocks, probably overkill, but takes little time to do. As noted previously, the Roto Chocks seem to reduce bounce. With the addition of the Andersen's I stopped carrying 1 bad of legos. Now I carry two bags.

Andersen chocks work with my unit and 16" Michelins....albeit barely.

Laminated rubber wheel chocks have the greatest surface grip. Good to have. I keep a pair for the TV drive wheel as well as those for the TT.

Hummm, that's interesting because I use them with 16" wheels/tires on our 34' without any problems.

I guess the axles are spaced differently.

There are a lot good choices out there and probably all work as advertised. I use the Roto chocks and have been quite pleased with them. they are well made.

The Roto-chocks look to be effective. I use the X-chocks and am happy with them. I had a set of the aluminum levered ones and they also worked well but after switching to the 16" wheels they would not fit. So I handed them off to another forum member to enjoy. I have another set of the aluminum ones but lost a nut to hold it together so until I rectify that I won't know if they will fit. Just another conundrum do deal with.

A question for those who own the Anderson Leveling System, will these work in conjunction with the type of wheel chock shown above?

If the trailer only needs a minimum rise will they conflict with the wheel chocks?
