storing and raising Safari off tires

I had an issue with a bad tire and was told by Airstream to jack up my 27' Safari to get the weight off the tires-where is the proper place to jack it up when it is not being used and stored under my carport?

This is what I was told by someone on Airforums. I made a note I case I ever needed the info. I don't believe this is necessary unless you are looking are a fairly long storage time.

"Placing airstream on jackstands: 2 on backside of A frame, 2 at the frame at the bumper, 2 at the axle mounting plates behind rear axle ( jack placed on mounting plate between axles)"

Do NOT jack on the axle!

Lift with jack on the vertical plate where the axle is mounted to.

Make SURE the trailer is connected to the TV or other way secured from moving!

Do not try to jack on the rear end. That can be a death blow.

I jacked up between the wheel on frame part, put a 2 ton jack on same frame part and slowly lowered that side. It took appx 90% of weight off tires.

Will post pictures to show jacks soon.
