Stabilizers

There is a single bolt at the end of the stabilizer. One of mine was missing so I removed one that was in place. Now I cannot get the new bolt to screw into anything and the one I removed does not screw to anything either. I thought it was the length so I bought longer bolts, still nothing. Anyone know what I need to do to replace the bolts? Thanks.

Given a little time I can come up with a photo of these screws. They are self-tapping ~1/4-5/16" screws. [exact diameter anyone?] They tap into steel channel of the frame. Therefore longer screws of the same diameter won't bite into the walls of the channel. You'll need to go up one in diameter to engage the channel. I'd try galvanized if I could find it.

A relevant thread on this matter - Stabilizer fell off

Hi, I had the same thing happen to my trailer. [vertually the same as yours] I had to drill, with a hole saw, 1" holes in the belly pan so I could slip some nuts in there for the bolt.
