Stabilizers

I recently purchased a 27ft airstream trailer, 1974 era. It seems to have a series of stabilizers, two in the front, two in the back. I wan't to jack up the trailer for the winter, but not sure how much weight these are suppose to carry, are they meant for support, or stabilization?

Don't Jack Up Trailer With Stabilizers.

khadley,
They are exactly that...stabalizers, not Jacks. If you want to jack the trailer up for winter storate invest in 2 heavy duty jack stands per axle and jack up the trailer with a floor jack and use the jack stands. There are many threads on proper placement of jacks and jack stands here.

Here are two...

Jack Stand Use/Placement (long-term parking)

Store With Stabilizer Jacks Up Or Down???
