Scissor Jack levelers

Hi all,

Has anyone used these to level a Class A Land Yacht 30 MH with a P32 Workhorse chassis? There are 4 points I can weld them to, but curious if anyone has had any problems with leveling a Class A with scissor jacks. Link follows:

Scissor Jacks Stabilizing System - Item - Camping World

I'd be using 4 of the 24002D with a 7500# each rating. My GVWR is 18,000.

Thanks,

Jeff

hi jeff

those are STABILIZING jacks, not LEVELING jacks.

big difference...

BIG difference.

also that STYLE (even if just used for stabilizing) will significantly reduce GROUND CLEARANCE...

especially at the rear.

not a great choice for the moho...

cheers

2air,

Folded up they will be about an inch higher than my Reese hitch. True......they're stabilizing jacks....(my bad)... just looking to keep the wind sway down at night. Any reason you think I shouldn't use them for that purpose? Plus.....even if I did crank them up to raise a corner an inch or two.....is it dangerous? Any other types I should be looking at that won't break the bank?

Thanks,

Jeff
