No jacks...what to do(buy)??

When we bought our '69 31'Sovereign a couple of weeks ago we noticed that it did not come with any jacks. I am a newbie so I have no idea what type to buy, where to buy and where to place them to level it out when we go camping, thanks in advance!

The only jacks to buy that can be attached to the underbelly, are called "stabilizing jacks".

Their purpose is to keep the trailer from moving as you walk thru it.

I would recommend these. cheaper, nothing protrudes from the bottom of the trailer and you can set them up in minutes too.

Stabilizing Jacks

The stabilizing jacks do not level the trailer. Side-to-side leveling is done with boards or plastic risers under the tires of the low side, driven up on until level. Fore-and-aft leveling is then done with the hitch jack. The stabilizers are then put down or installed to stabilize the trailer, but not to support it.

I put some of these on my 69. But I found them for 60.00 a piece. RV Stabilzer - BAL Telscopic for Sale The only thing is they don't have the extended shank. But for the price I paid the inconveinience is not bad. look around sometimes you can find a good deal
