Manual Jack Recommendations?

We are considering replacing our non working original electric jack on our 1966 Safari with a manual jack. Does anyone have recommendations for a particular one?
Do replacement jacks need to be welded to the A frame or bolted on? (our trailer is currently in storage, so I am trying to remember how the current jack is attached and with a lack of coffee this morning, it is fuzzy...)
Thanks so much!

Jack swap is super easy. Three bolts. The jack on my 74 was rusted on so it took some doing to get it off, but attaching the new one was not a big deal.

I'm using this jack:

I like the side crank, since it seems to be easier to operate than a top crank.

I've had both manual and electric. If yours is currently electric, but non-working, I'd be inclined to replace it with another electric jack.

If yours is like many, it's basically 3 bolts to remove and replace and a single power feed and done. I personally love the power jack!

Thank you so much! I will likely order one later this week. We appreciate the recommendation about the side crank also - I was wondering how much clearance the top crank would have in relation to the propane tanks.
