Leveling System

Anyone using the levelmate Pro?

Amazon.com: LevelMatePRO Bluetooth® Vehicle Leveling System: Automotive

Wandering how well it works or doesn't work.

Although pricey compared to the iPhone or other simple levels, it does works as advertised. Takes the guesswork out of stack building. Latest version has an on/off switch to allow for battery conservation. Ours in mounted in the front of the trailer in a cabinet above the bed, no issues with connectivity to the cab. We don't regret spending the money.

We have the same set up as vlaming - LevelMatePRO mounted in the front cabinet above the bed. Works like a charm, especially used with Beech Lane or other curved levelers.

I have the first generation one and it works OK, but for the money I wouldn't do it again. Count another one that uses the level app on my Samsung.

As someone whose DW can sense the 25' trailer being out of level by less than 1/2 inch the LevelMate Pro has worked perfectly. It is SO convenient to be able to level the trailer right from the driver's seat. I have found the phone levelers to not be nearly accurate enough to please my wife. Used to use a carpenter's level but the LM Pro is far more convenient. It has DW's complete deal of approval and that made it worth every penny [emoji846].

@kpm It is now in the iOS app called “Measure” and as such is even more handy IMHO.

It’s still there. Look for a tiny X in the center of the compass rose.

I have the 1st gen and. Ow the 2nd gen. Is good for me as I can have the wife just make sure I don’t roll off the levelers and we are spot on every time. Also, we have a Pro-pride hitch so the hitch height memory is useful for getting hitched up when we leave.

Can I ask what you didn't like about it and maybe how much you want for it.

That was great until I upgraded the phone. It still has a bubble level, but I found a lot of free "level" apps that work great.

I took a real level and put it on the floor, table, countertop, and freezer, and guess what? None agree.
I'm not too level sensitive as long as I'm not rolling out of bed.
I will say I'm spoiled by the Husky 5000 tongue jack with the remote control. Sit in the trailer at the table and adjust the fore and aft. Just don't leave the remote in your pocket as it can make contact with other stuff and suddenly the jack moves.

I'll join the chorus: LM Pro and Andrerson roll-on levelers are very slick. DW is not only sensitive to out of level, but also impatient by the time we get to the camping spot. During my walk around I pop into the coach to turn the LM Pro on (inside the wardrobe) then once we get near final, DW places the levelers on port or starboard by turnsignal signal from the TV - the rest is up to me. Cuts down on the shouting, too.

we have the LevelMatePRO Bluetooth

we love it

to get it running , i simply run a magnet beside it. that wakes it up
start the u app up my phone

then i level the AS side-to-side with curved wheel chalks

then i use the front jack to do the front-back level

after i lock it all in place with the 4 corner jacks with plastic pads underneath

So where is there any advantage over using a bubble level or the app on your phone?

With the
LevelMate Pro you can see which side needs to be raised and by how much. Also if you are boondocking you can drive around with the trailer to find the most level stop before parking.
