The drift we're referring to is when trying to park using the Anderson levellers. You pull/or back up on the ramps until level. The drift is the trailer rolling some out of level...

I use Anderson levelers and when I get it level, I use my brake, then put parking brake on, seems to stop most of the drift....

I've got Anderson levelers but haven't used in a while. I just ramp the wheels up on squares according to the levelmate and that works for me.

Level Mate needs to get power off the trailer batteries or at least an on/off switch to conserve it's batteries.

Based on your experience what can I expect in battery longevity?

Not sure how your experience has gone but mine has been installed since January and I've had no battery issues I have to add that I don't use the tongue height feature because there is a issue with battery drain on that

I suspect that future Versions will address this and it will not be an issue

I installed mine around Christmas and have not replaced the batteries. I did adjust my settings to let it sleep faster as initially it was staying awake too long and the battery did drain pretty low. But I've not actually had to replace them yet. I do keep some spares in the trailer as the Propane gauges use them too.

I'd love to see a hardwire version available, may even have to kludge something myself.

As a matter of safety, we always apply the parking break when we put the truck in park. As children tent camping with our parents, we once saw a runaway camper bucketing down a wooded hillside after they thought it was parked. Funny for us as tent-camping children observing the fuss, but very traumatic for the owners. I don't recommend that experience to anyone.

hmm..yeah...this is interesting..

I use the Anderson levelers...and this would be a nice addition to streamline the process of setup.

I like the iphone app as pointed out (did not know of it before, pretty coo), but that is apples and oranges..I really like this level mate pro device as described..one less thing to have my wife have to help me with while managing the kids as well upon arrival...but 128 bucks? I don't know...maybe....cost aside, I definitely want it...

Install is easy?

OH HELL YEAH..

If the guy that play Chekov in star trek movies, Anton Yelchin, had put on the park brake, after putting the jeep in park, he would be alive today.

NEVER trust the park dogs in the transmission. they get loose and dont grip. good adjusted park brake will never let you down.

the jeep was part of a recall as well..
