Sort of depends what you want to do when the trailer is lifted.

My '99 Safari has a spot on the bottom indicating where the jack should be placed, it is towards the back, behind the wheels. I don't know if your unit has this decal or not. You need to be very careful about how you jack up a trailer, Airstream or SOB.

Bear in mind that you never want place the jack on the axles.

If you only want to pull a wheel, a lot of times it's easier just to pull one of the wheels up on to a (STABLE) board/s and that in turn will lift the other wheel up off of the ground. Some folks build "ramps" for this purpose, you can also purchase ready made versions of the same (one of which, the Trailer Aid I carry in my AS.

When necessary to put both wheels in the air, I use a bottle nose jack and place it so to push up on the frame behind the wheels. Do not put the jack on any part of the axle to lift, much damage can occur.

If your trailer has dual axles and if you just want to pull wheels off, then I find it far easier to just run the adjacent wheel up on a ramp made of those interlocking plastic blocks - the other wheel will be left hanging in the air - much simpler, quicker, and safer than using bottle jacks IMHO.

It takes two 2x8 or 2x10 boards to lift one wheel off the ground when I put the other wheel on the boards. I bevel cut the board ends to make it easier on the tires. Even then, one wheel may still touch the ground because of uneven ground or fate. Then moving the tongue jack up or down will lift the wheel enough.

There are plates on the bottom of my trailer indicating places where it is safe to jack the trailer though I haven't used them. One was missing and I had it put on at JC.

I have a 2001 25ft. excella. The tires have sunk into the sand quite a bit. I wanted to jack it up and put solid cement blocks under it.

Wouldn't is be easier to try to tow it out of the holes and then stabilize the ground. A jack may sink in too.
