Jack Stand Not Working

Reconnected new batteries etc. jack stand not working. No power to use lift or light. Checked fuse and it appears ok. What am I missing?

Recheck battery connections and polarity.

I assume the jack worked fine before you removed the batteries?
The 12v. power to the jack is a single lead with a yellow crimp connector and goes to the + terminal of a battery.
The negative path is through the A-Frame of the trailer. Make sure the three jack bolts are not rusty. Are you sure the fuse is good? Meter it or just replace it.
The ground path meets a common ground strap somewhere inside the trailer. Has anything changed?
Everything else work?
Beyond that, I'd be getting the volt meter out and seeing where I lost power, maybe the switch?

Many bad fuses "appear OK", check it with an ohm meter or try another fuse.

This was mentioned but do you have the black wire with the yellow crimp on the positive battery terminal?

And I was double checking after reading previous note on same ... yep I didn’t have it on positive. It was on the negative side. End user failure.

Just a comment.....before replacing my batteries, I take a picture on the iPhone, to remind me of the correct connections.

Lesson learned is a good thing because it most likely will never happen again.

Obviously you got bit by the somewhat unknow AS cell phone virus that mixes up picture pixels. Very problematic with black and yellow colors. Best counter virus fix is to stand in front of the trailer, when it's raining and wave the cell phone high in the air while you do the AS rain dance. Do not perform this fix if there is any lightening in the area or forecast. Oh, and the virus correction team would be happy to review pictures of your dance. Please post. Pat

One more thought.... I did not like seeing the black (jack stand) wire going to the positive battery terminal, so I put 2" of red heat shrink tubing on the end by the ring terminal. Now it looks like I have a red wire going to the positive terminal.

Remove the four screws holding the grey jack cover on and you will see a connection at the top that probably has come off. My new AS had the same problem. Just screw the wire back on.
