Jack not working

Went to get trailer out of storage (outside all winter ) The jack went up an inch and stopped. I cannot get it to go up or down anymore. Checked the fuses and the battery, all is good. Cannot get the head off to try manually as one Allen key screw is stripped. Any ideas?

Bottle jack or other jack to support the a-frame. Pull the three bolts out of the jack base. Hook up and go.

Troubleshoot on the bench. If it’s not the switch, check the motor and limit switches.

All else fails, get a new one.

I try to keep a waterproof cover over mine...they really don’t do well out in the rain.

Things to try.
1. Does the light come on? If yes, it's getting power
2. Is the ground good? I tried a jumper cable between my battery negative and the exposed shaft. All jacks get their ground through the three bolts between the jack and frame. Rust is an enemy.
