x2 on the Lynx levelers. Had the Trailer Aid (came with trailer) sold it. Saw no reason in having both and you do need the levelers. Had a blow out on the Interstate a while back, pulled the trailer up on the levelers and had the spare on and back on the road within 15 minutes. The levelers are just as safe if connected to TV while changing tires.

Primarily I use Lynx levellers, but I do also carry a bottle jack and a few bits of wood "just in case!"
For example - if my electric tongue jack quits and for some reason I cannot wind it manually with a wrench, then at least I could easily employ the bottle jack and remove / replace the defective tongue jack that is bolted in place on the tongue.

I use a similar ramp type that I got at Speedway Motors. I've read that you shouldn't jack the trailer up by the axle but even so the ramp is small light and very easy to use. Only thing (don't ask me how I know) is do not unhook the trailer while it's up on that ramp

A trailer can be jacked up under the axle mounting bracket or under the trailer frame. Never jack under the axle tube itself.

My first Airstream was 1973 30' (or 31' can't remember) It came with a wooden wedge to drive one tire onto when there was a flat tire on another. The attachment is a page out of an Airstream owner manual that addressed how to use that wedge. I've made one of these for each trailer I've owned.
I carry a wood wedge and a bottle jack. Between the two I've never been unable to raise my trailer when I needed. At one time I used a floor jack at home, but I no longer do that.

Following the owners' manual, Wingezzer's response is a 'no brainer' for dual axle trailers. Never had to consider it until last summer between Bishop CA and Wendover NV (the middle of nowhere with NO cell signal). Our 1st ever flat in 10+years, and my wife and I had the spare mounted, and we were on the road in less than 45 minutes! I guess there may be situations calling for a 'proper' jack, but for us our Lego blocks, a breaker bar and torque wrench were all we needed.

Trailer aid, Anderson levelers and a 5 ton bottle jack. Pieces of 2x4 are your friend.
