Jack Drop

I was on my way home from camping this weekend, and I was about five miles from home, and I heard this grinding noise coming from the hitch area. I first thought something was wrong with my hitch, since I had seen the posts regarding the issues with the suburban hitches welds coming loose. So I put on my my flashers and crawled down an off ramp. When I got out, the hitch was fine, but the post for the jack had some how came down while I was driving.

I have been camping for years, this is the first power jack I have had, but had never seen or heard of the post coming down while driving.

Needless to say, I think it might be shot, the goods news was I was able to pull over and take the jack completely out, so that I could continue home. Has this ever happend to anyone else, or was it just a freak occurance?

Yes, this happened to Kevin (overlander64). His decided to power itself down while he was driving, I'm sure the shower of sparks were spectacular.

No Power

I had been having an issue with mine, and the power was disconnected from the Jack, I was using a car jack this weekend to move it up and down.

Hand Crank

Less than $50.00 and "almost" always works.

Don't know

I wish I could tell you, but there are no markings on it at all. I am not sure if it came with the unit, but my TT is a 73 24ft Agrosy.

Sorry I can not be of more help
