Figured It Out
I was confused about how to jack our 2002 International AS. It did not come with underbelly skin, and there was no jack point. Went to our local airstream dealer. Service guy said to use the frame, but really didn't want to be committed or responsible. So I just decided to do it carefully and jack at the frame. A bottle jack did the main lifting, and I placed two other stands either side for safety.
I took the two wheels off and they are now out for new tires. I will have the chance this weekend to look at the bearings and brakes. (If I can figure out how to get the drums off easily). Next I'll put the newly tired wheels back on, torque them down and go to the other side.

TankerIP,
Since you have a tandem axle trailer, why didn't you just run one axle up on a ramp to remove the other two wheels?

No Ramps
Thanks for the question Bill.
I never thought about, for instance, pulling both front tires up on a block to remove the back tires. The emabarasing answer is: I don't have ramps and, until last week, never thought of needing them. After reading several posts about lego blocks and 2x6's, I realized I need to get some just for emergencies on a trip.
Except for this forum, how does anyone ever learn what all to do? I wish there was a checklist to download somewhere.

The lego blocks work great to level the trailer from side to side at unlevel campsites. I have two sets just for that reason. I use 2X6 boards to set up a ramp to change wheels, pack bearings etc at home. One real advantage to tandem axle trailers, no jacking required.
