If you don't mind, how much does a system like this cost installed?

mine was ~3K CAD installed.

I love this idea, thanks for sharing. The Leveltronic website has better pictures / videos and a nice remote. Bulllseye may be just as good, but I don't see any pictures / videos. On the other hand, there are several RV places in my area that handle Bullseye products (though none are Airstream dealers) but I can't find evidence of Leveltronics dealers anywhere in the US. I guess I could buy a two-jack Leveltronics system and have a good RV technician install them for me.

Anyhow, a few more questions, hope you don't mind:

Rawn77 and Cory_Can, did you go with Leveltronics or Bullseye?

Was it necessary to open the belly pan to mount the jacks and wiring?

Does your front power jack seem happy to participate in lifting / levelling the trailer if you take the wheels off the ground?

Sounds like you don't push a "level my trailer now" button, rather you adjust each of the three jacks (including the tongue jack) independently until you have the trailer leveled. Still really easy but it's an eyeball process, right?

Do you notice any torquing of the frame (e.g. doors that don't quite close after leveling)? I keep reading about the mystique of properly jacking up an Airstream without bending something...

I guess I have the Leveltronic; I just saw the system at my dealer and knew I had to have it.
I have no clue about the installation, sorry.
Front power jack lifts the trailer no problem.
No eyeball process, there are levels. See photos.
I notice no torquing of the frame.

One of the great uses of the system is that I can easily tilt the trailer road side when emptying the tanks.

Bullseye Leveling system

"Silvery moon", saw your PM and I wasn't ignoring you....Ron, just beat me to it and he has more experience than I

Ditto what he said

On a single axle trailer it wouldn't be nearly as useful because leveling can be done with 1-2 blocks etc but with a dual axle this makes it incredibly easy. No more backing into a site and then having to adjust the level of your fortress of blocks a few times (and never getting it quite correct.). Drop it where you want it the first time and click a few buttons and you're done. It's very solid on the two rear levelers and tongue jack but I still put down the front manual stabilizers (with a drill) ...maybe because my door is in the front I prefer the feeling of the extra points of contact in addition to the tongue jack.

This system has much to like, easy parking as well as the ability to take some weight off the axles/tires for longer term. So now how do I balance benefits with cost, I ask myself.

The same way you did when spent 3x what you could have bought an SOB for..

or

You buy it cause it's a gadget; and like all men.... we love gadgets. I'm sure it would be an easier decision if the leveler units had blinking lights, dials and an APP for the iPhone

I hate gadgets Ron, but like this thing. That's up there with the recliner conversion and ProProde hitch in long term cost and benefit I think and we're not getting any younger . . .

An iPhone app and connection via BT would actually be very handy for this particular situation

buncha wimps. Get out there in the mud on your knees screaming at the wife to go back, no go forward, NO straighten the GD wheels first.....

What do these do to your ground clearance? Do they become the lowest structures on the trailer when pulling it over rutted dirt roads?

What's the yellow hose for? Is that part of a full time hookup?
