Barker jack customer service
Over the last few months when my Barker 3000 jack was raised to near its maximum height as I was getting ready to set my WDH bars, it had become very noisy. I was becoming concerned it was going to fail and my 2015 FC25FB was going to run out of warranty in January 2017. I have a heavy load to lift, hitch weight of just under 1,000lbs., hitched to a Ford F250 with a cap and a good load in the bed of generator, fuel, chairs, tool boxes, fire wood and two folding bikes, etc. So, I called Barker in Battle Creek, Michigan and spoke with Bob Archer in customer service. I explained my concerns. He agreed that I might have a problem with such a heavy truck to lift and suggested I send in the jack for inspection. I told him I was in California and shipping would be pricey if I could figure out how to box up the jack. Bob and I discussed the 3500 series with a higher load capacity ball bearing screw jack which might be a better application for my situation. Bob offered to sell me the heavy duty 3500 jack at a very discounted price to offset the shipping and hassle. I accepted the offer. Barker provided first class customer service!
