BAL Stabilizers

Has anyone had a problem with their stabilizers not working? Twice now the nut at the end of the threaded rod that drives the stabilizer up and down has come off. Fortunately I have been able to locate the nuts by crawling under the trailer and screwing them back on. How do I keep these things in place?

replace the offending nut with a new nylock nut. they are available at good hardware stores.

if that doesn't work find a castlated nut and cotter key it into place.

-or- get two nuts and double nut it with one locking the other into place.
