BAL Chocks

I bought two BAL Deluxe Chocks. They seem to work fine but I have a question? Will keeping them attached for a long period of time do damage to the tires? (make flat places on the tires)

I have a pair of the Bals also. They are particularly good when hooking up the Hensley. When we put Lucy in storage, I use plastic triangle chocks. It's not that I'm concerned about the tires. I concerned about corrosion on the Bals.
