Another Power Jack Question.

I tried the power jack on the trailer after it sat for 5 years, and it worked fine. I was wondering if there is any way to lubricate the motor?

There is usally a top cover that is designed to be removed. This is the manual override. You may have a small crank handle that does not seem to fit anything. This is what it is for. The cover is over the top of the screw that the motor turns. A little white grease in here is all it needs, if you are not experiencing trouble I would let this sleeping dog lie. The scews may be rusted in place or you may have trouble re-sealing the cover after opening it.

.....or one of the gears might become stuck on the lid, coming off with it. Then the entire thing needs to be synchronized.....happened to me. 1 hour of surfing the web revealed instructions on how to do it from the manufacturer.

So I guess the word is, if it isn't broken, don't mess with it
