Airstream Power Jack .. worth the $$?

We're going to replace our power jack pretty soon and I just saw this one on Vintage Trailer Supply's sites... I know nothing about jacks other than I need a power one but thought this one looked heavy duty and actually looks a lot cooler than the battered plastic covered one that we have now I'm willing to pay for quality and esthetics but want to be sure it is a quality product!!

We do have a tank cover an it did say that you may have to mount the motor sideways to accommodate for that but I dont' see an issue with doing that -does anyone?

Looks good to me. Are not all airstream jacks mounted "sideways"? Ours is. Have had good service from Vintage. Looks like the jack that is on our trailers.

Ebay is also a wonderful place to shop for RV parts and accessories. Quality is good as well.

I've purchased stuff several times from this supplier:

CLEARANCE ITEMS on Sale! - Adventure RV

They have always shipped prompt, packed properly against damage, and their prices seem more than fair, and they are quick to respond to questions...

I replaced our power jack when we bought our AS...most all 'common' trailer power jacks are built to similar specs...

We recently picked up a Barker VIP 3000 for less than $200. Very satisfied with the product.
