Adding stabilizers to a trailer

I have a '64 22' Safari and was wondering if there was a way to attach those types of stabilizers to my trailer. The old school aluminum ones I use are a pain in the butt.

Nick's got a question still open. In the meanwhile...

Nick, if you go this way be sure to get the BAL stabilizers custom built for Airstreams. They're heavy and shipping would be high, so maybe check an Airstream dealer closer to you. I've been to the BAL website and you'll see the same stabilizer but their shafts aren't long enough. It's a long way back to the first longitudinal frame member where they screw in. Therefore Airstreams need a custom model.

Who has put these on an early '60s Airstream?

I know for a fact that Terry (Overlander63) has installed these on a 63 Overlander, because I now own that trailer. He did a great job and they worked well. I have taken them off while replacing the floor and bellypan, but I will reinstall as soon as I'm done with all that.

I also need another two of them for the front. InlandRV carries the ones that are especially for Airstreams, and likely other vendors do as well, but brand new, they are pretty pricey, so I won't be purchasing these for a bit.
