2" Jack Post Question

My 2008 23' Safari 2" jack post has a threaded hole in the bottom of it. It's about a 1/2" threaded hole directly in the center.

Why and what could attach here?

All the trailer jack post wheels either fit over the end of the jack post or slide up inside the post, I can't find any with that side thread.

Thanks for any input!

Re: Jack post

My guess is there was a foot pad with a threaded stud that screwed into the bottom of the post after you installed the jack. It was designed so you could place the jack post through the coupler and then attach the foot. See if there is a replacement available from the manufacturer.
