1959 Tradewind tongue jack

Hi folks, just trying to figure out if, or what I can replace the innards of this tongue jack from a 1959 Tradewind. Is it possible to buy a new jack and put it inside or do i need to replace this?
Are they universal in size, or would I have to replace the whole unit?
I am also curious as to what seems like stabilizer hardware on the A frame? Is that worth resurrecting to get to a functioning state again?
Much thanks,
Muskie
