wing window leak

Working on resealing my 1980 Caravelle the wing windows look like they were set into the frame with silicone from the factory could this be right? I have removed as much as I can and cleaned with MEK. What would be best to use where the glass meets the alum frame par bond or sikaflex 221? Any one run into this before?

Use Vulkem or Sikaflex, but not Parbond.

Thanks
Went ahead and used Sikaflex it seems to stick to anything.
Would they of used silicone to set the windows at the factory?
