Where does one buy relacement stuff that goes around the windown lift levers when they are open. Mine are shot and bugs could come right in.

Clarification attempt - again!!!!

Are we talking about the 'furry strip' that sits on the left and right of all opening windows. There is a slit within the 'fs' allows the window mechanism to be inserted and to slide freely up and down, ie opporate a window.

Is this what we are all talking about!????????? Hope so.

If not, then we need a LOT more detail to specify exactly so that there isn't needless searching.

The window fuzzies are available from Inland RV. I've replaced all mine. It's a fiddly time-consuming job, and it seem's expensive, until you remember the bugs.

That's what I'm looking for. What makes the job so time consuming?

If you are lucky enough to have a local window shop that manufactures windows or even does custom work stop over there. This is a very inexpensive item and they will probably cut off a length for you if you smile. I was able to get all of the fuzzies I needed when replacing the screens in my Tradewind. Also if you have an account with CR Lawrence they will send it to you in a great big roll.

Each window inner frame and the accompanying knobs on the levers have to be removed (lots of self tapping screws, which I have replaced with stainless steel bolts and nyloc nuts). The old fuzzies are pulled off, but then all the old glue has to be carefully removed by scraping and using a suitable solvent, perhaps acetone. The fuzzies are applied with contact adhesive, so there is just one chance to get it right. With seven opening windows, 14 fuzzies, this was a long task.
