Vulkem wrap

Once you open Vulkem can you just wrap saran wrap around the tip to keep it from getting nasty? I can only do so much at a time and it doesn't have a cap so thought this might work best.

any opinions?

Yes, wrapping it with saran is good, but for more than a day or two you need to place the tube in the refer and keep it cold. This will allow opened tubes to last for a month or more. At least in my experience Just remember to take it out an hour or two before you need it so it can get soft again.
