Ok just got this trailer and appears to leak in rear bunk area. I have a drip almost straight accross matress near tear drop. I am thinking fellow pressure washed with unit maybe even acid wash. Could the sealants used be damaged and need doing over. What products should I get. For boats I would get 3m 4200 but would be tough getting off trailer for later service. Should I also do tail lights the caulking is cracked. Do I need to pull these off or touch up
lights = r&r , bead of vulkem (grey) rivet back on and clean off excess with rag and mineral spirits. make sure light is right side up.
seam leaks = small bead of grey vulkem along seam, work into seam 10-20"s at a time, wipe off excess with rag and mineral spirits (latex gloves will disolve in ms but are cheap) wipe towards seam as you clean and new seal will be invisable. takes patience and vulkem is messy to work with but very effective.
