Removing vulkem?
I stripped the interior completely and am now working through waterproofing. The plan is to waterproof interior the strip, polish, seal and clear-coat the exterior prior to the shell off. How much Vulkem needs to be removed and replaced? I can get it off the lighting entry points and the areas where I intend to remove nameplates etc, but do I need to remove it from the seems that look OK. Do the window frames (the part riveted to the shell) need to come out and be resealed? The factory job is soo inconsistent, some areas have Vulkem and others are bare??? Any advise is appreciated.
