ParBond Shrinkage?

I got a chance to re-seal some seams with ParBond recently. I must say, once I figured out it's flow characteristics, it is great to work with. My question is, is it normal for the bead to "shrink" or contract quite a bit after it has cured for a while? I realize it has a capillary action but didn't expect it would pull into the joint that well, or is basically cooking off the fluid portionof the sealant? Just want to double check my application (yes, making sure the joints are <1/8").

Thanks!

I have observed what you are talking about. I suspect the Parbond continues to flow into the seam or gap, which sometimes leaves a void when it cures. however, it may shrink some as well, I don't know.
