Par Bond

The Par Bond I applied is cracking, little hairline cracks...what did I do wrong?

You did nothing wrong. Sometimes Parbond has a tendency to do that. I think it has to do with the outside temp and humidity. I say that because sometimes it does it and other times it doesn't-even from the same tube.

I have found that it helps to wipe excess with a rag dampened with mineral spirits. I 've noticed a lesser tendency to spider crack.

Thanks for the first hand knowledge Tripp...East Texas is very humid as a Dallas boy knows so that must be it...sure glad I didn't do the wrong steps...did use the mineral spirits rag though...thanks for the insight. Silver Lassie
