leaks-after sealing

My 1978 Airstream had the roof sealed by an Airstream shop. With the first rain, there are three new leaks. One from the air conditioner, one from the bathroom vent, and a big leak from the upper bathroom cupboard. Has this happened to you after sealing? I'm thinking stress on the roof created new openings.

Coastal, I've seen seams on the roof open up from my weight on the roof.I've taken that as an indication that the Vulkem was oxidized and due for replacement. I noticed this particularly on the long seam where the awning holder is riveted to the roof. I scraped out the old Vulkem, replaced it with a new bead, and added a layer of aluminum tape for extra sealing.I suspect you are correct.
Nick.

coastal me.

Did you have the sewer vent pipe cover gaskets replaced?

They must be replaced every 5 to 6 years or so.

If not, strange leaks appear, such as you describe.
