Jupiter Florida needs help!!!!

My sister and I purchased a 1971 tradewind....We thought she was in pretty good shape so we took her home....Well I think we might be in over our heads. Is anyone in the vicinity of Jupiter Florida willing to take a ride out to help two crazy sisters? The floor had a new pergo floor in it so we couldn't see the subfloor. When we took out the kitchen we noticed that the sub floor was spongy...So we took up the pergo and found along most of the perimeter is wet. We think the "banana wrap" is the problem. The old calking looks like its missing and cracked and that were the wet spots are on the sub floor. I am not sure how to address the the problem....Michele

It could have gotten wet from leaks that have run down the inside of the walls to the subfloor. Read up on sealing leaks, for a start.
