Is there anyone who uses Trempro 636 & Sikaflex 221 on a 70's AS

Now that I am getting close to removing the shell off of "Ma", I want to seal the leaks 1st! I am fortunate in the fact that I have a fastenal next door to my work. They currently have trempro 636 in stock for $6 a tube with company discount. they do not have or carry sikaflex. My ? is.... are there places that I should use 636 instead of 221 and vice versa? If not I am trempro 636 all day long. Thanks, Ben

TremPro 635 is more appropriate than 636 for use on your trailer, due to resistance to vibration and better adhesion.
You can read the product specs at Tremco Urethane Sealants

thanks for info but fastenal didnt have 635 in stock and gave me a sweet deal on a case of 8 tubes, around $5 a tube after taxes. I dont think I will need 8 but I will remove all the old and reseal the whole trailer.

Good luck on the Safari

Bennyg, I have also been using the 635 on my AS. I think it works well. I started a shell off resto of my 1976 23' Safari in April. I gutted it, new 3/4" ply floor. And rust proofed frame. I'm putting her back together with a new layout. I think the 23' is a perfect size to renovate. Good luck!

I use nothing BUT 636. It is never in stock and I always have to order it in(24 tubes at a time).
